About
We don’t just host events. We create experiences.
Black & Brown Live brings people together through music, art, nightlife, and culture. We create curated experiences that audiences love and venue partners benefit from.

The Founder
Meet Nate Howard.
Creative entrepreneur. Poet. Host.
Nate Howard is the creative force and personality behind Black & Brown Live. Whether he’s on the mic, working the room, or dreaming up the next experience, his gift is the same: connecting people and building moments they remember.
Before the stage was his own, Nate’s words were already on record. He has written and performed poetic intros for Ty Dolla $ign, including the opening to the award-winning “LA” featuring Kendrick Lamar. That same ear for rhythm, story, and timing shapes every Black & Brown Live night.
Black & Brown Live started in San Diego with a simple idea: that good music, great people, and real connection belong in the same room. What began as nights for the community has grown into a cultural experiences company spanning R&B and neo-soul events, Paint & Sip, live performances, DJ nights, cultural gatherings, and artist collaborations.
Today, Nate and the team partner with venues, artists, and brands to create experiences that feel elevated, welcoming, and unmistakably ours, with an eye on new cities next.

Quality in the details
The lighting, the playlist, the host, the welcome. It all matters.
